Debra has been part of Blueprint Youth UK for over 13 years and brings a wealth of experience to the organisation. As a former Deputy Cabinet Member for Children and later Cabinet Member for Safer and Stronger Communities at West Sussex County Council, she has an in-depth understanding of the challenges young people face and how systems can either support or exclude them.

She chairs our Board Meetings and expertly keeps everything on track. This is no small task when working with a neurodiverse team. Debra is passionate about making sure everyone involved in Blueprint Youth is trained to the best possible level, so that the quality of what we deliver always remains high.

Having survived a life-threatening illness and navigated ongoing health challenges, Debra has a deep belief in the power of resilience. She brings this perspective into everything she does at Blueprint Youth UK, encouraging the team to keep going, adapt, and grow, even when things get tough.
