Insights

Young people on coaching

Coaching is for you to go and speak to someone who is caring and will help you. They don’t judge you, and you can say whatever you want; it is your time.

BF

Coaching has helped me to help myself; no one is telling me what to do. They are helping me find my way.

GB

I would say that having a coach and doing coaching is a really good way to build some confidence and understand how to solve problems yourself.

LT

Coaching gives you the time to talk to someone and focus on an issue or problem you have and helps to stop avoiding it.

EB

Coaching helps you to work out things you are struggling with and makes you understand how you can help yourself so that you can carry on living your best life.

UB

When you think about coaching you might think it is something for football or for someone else but it is for everyone. If you want someone to talk to who will be there and listen to you I would give it a try

Debbie Kennard Progression Fund

Turning belief into action

The Debbie Kennard Progression Fund exists to help more young people access support from Blueprint Youth UK.

In January 2026, I am starting the fund by donating £750, which provides six one-to-one coaching sessions for one young person through Blueprint Youth UK.  Those six sessions are the full offer, giving a young person dedicated time and space to plan, take action, reflect, and make changes in their life.

I am inviting others to contribute any amount they wish, so that more young people can benefit in the same way.

Every contribution means a great deal to the young people this fund exists for.

If you would like to discuss the fund in more detail, please feel free to get in touch.
